For AppRadio Mode users, Pioneer has completed its compatibility evaluation of iOS 8 with AppRadio Mode. Please see below for important information:

iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s and iPod touch (5th generation)users:
The following AppRadio Mode applications are not compatible with iOS 8 at this time.

The above apps are currently not compatible due to communication issues between the app and the head unit.
Additionally, other applications may experience screen resizing errors.

To maintain AppRadio Mode use of these apps, please continue using iOS 7.1.2 with your iPhone or iPod touch.

iPhone 4 and iPod touch (4th generation) users:
iOS 8 is not compatible with your iPhone or iPod touch, so the update does not affect your use of AppRadio Mode.

With the expected release of iOS 8 this Autumn, Pioneer would like to remind all AppRadio Mode users that these products are currently compatible with the following iPhone and iPod touch models and iOS software versions.

iPhone 5s: iOS 6.0 - iOS 7.1.2
iPhone 5c: iOS 6.0 - iOS 7.1.2
iPhone 5: iOS 6.0 - iOS 7.1.2
iPhone 4s: iOS 5.0 - iOS 7.1.2
iPhone 4: iOS 4.3 - iOS 7.1.2
iPod touch (5th generation): iOS 6.0 - iOS 7.1.2 iPod touch (4th generation): iOS 4.3 - 6.1.6

Note: We cannot guarantee compatibility with iOS 8.

Once iOS 8 has been officially released, Pioneer will test and release compatibility or incompatibility information when finalized.
