If an incorrect firmware is used, the product will no longer function correctly.

This firmware is for AVIC-F500BT which are NOT updated with CNSD-150FM or CNSD-250FM (map version01) sold in Europe, excluding Russia.

How to check your current map version:

1. Switch on your Navigation unit by switching on the ignition of your car. If you don't see "Top Menu" displayed on top of the display, press the "MENU" button
2. Select "Settings"
3. Select "System Settings"
4. Select "Service Information"
5. You should see:

Map version: 01.xxxxxx
Version: 2.xxxxxx

Check the "Map version" to know if your product was updated with a map update:

• If the Map version is 01.xxxxxx then your product is not updated with any map update and this is the firmware for you.
• If the Map version is 02.xxxxxx, please use the "Firmware for products with CNSD-150FM update" (on this page).
• If the Map version is 03.xxxxxx, please use the "Firmware for products with CNSD-250FM update" (on this page).
