24/7 Security Mode* uses the vehicle battery, allowing you to monitor your vehicle 24/7, 365 days a year. When the vehicle is parked and after detecting movement caused by vibration, it will automatically record an event for a fixed period of time.

*In case of VREC-170RS and VREC-DH200, the security Mode uses the internal built-in battery. After it detects movement caused by vibration, it will automatically start to record an event for a fixed period of time.

Using Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), you also receive voice messages when a risk is detected. At a traffic light, when you activate the "STOP & GO" function, you are notified when a vehicle in front of you starts moving. The Voice Comand function of the VREC-Z810SH increases the comfort of driving while protecting you from risks.

In case of VREC-Z810SH, you can obtain even 4K HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGE (3840 x 2160 3840 x 2160 pixels) which can capture details of the surrounging, including number plates of cars around you (*).

Pioneer DashCamera continues to monitor road conditions for your safety. The warning sound is triggered when the DashCamera detects an object ahead of you, such as a vehicle in the distance of 10 meter or less (FCWS*). Your hear a warning sound also when your vehicle deviates from the lane at a speed more than 60km/h (LDWS**).

Stop & go

In case of VREC-Z810SH, you receive warnings by voice message. Furthermore, when you set "STOP & GO" function on, you are notified by voice when a vehicle in front as standstill (0km/h) starts moving.

Tailgating

When the distance between your car and the car behind you becomes to small, the dashcam starts to beep and record.

Wide dynamic range (WDR)

Camera swivel

When the camera section faces the interior of the vehicle, the video is automatically switched up and down for recording.

The ultra compact Dash Camera measures around 3 cm squared, so it is inconspicuous when installed.

Gesture control

You can record your events by simply holding your hand below the dash camera, thanks to Pioneer’s Gesture Control. Gesture Control means your event recording is started by gesture operation without taking your eyes off the road whilst driving.

Using Pioneer’s ND-RC1 rear camera you can transform your existing 1 channel dash camera into a 2 channel setup.

RD-HWK200 hard wire kit

VREC-DH300D

The Pioneer RD-HWK200 Hard Wire Kit is designed to offer Parking Mode* for the VREC-DH300D.

When connected to the VREC-DH300D, you can continue the recording until the vehicle battery voltage drops below a given value, or up to a set time, even after the engine is off.

*Parking Mode is an optional feature on the VREC-DH300D that requires the accessory RD-HWK200, sold separately.

AD-PLF100 polarised filter

Using Pioneer’s Polarised Filter AD-PLF100, you can minimise the reflection on the windscreen from areas such as the dashboard, meaning in all weather conditions you can record in even higher quality.
